For five days and nights, the central square and surrounding streets will be filled with knights, folk dancers, street theater, dragons, stilt walkers, and fire performers, offering free entertainment for everyone.

Ayia Napa is once again filled with knights, queens, kings, dragons, witches, and acrobats! From Wednesday, October 8th to Sunday, October 12th, 2025, the 20th Ayia Napa Medieval Festival will return to Georgios Seferis Square, bringing history and legends to life. Admission is free.

Since 2006, the festival has become one of the largest of its kind in Cyprus and Europe. The program includes street theater, medieval music and dance, as well as international groups from Greece, Italy, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Romania, Slovakia, and other countries, recreating the atmosphere of the Middle Ages.

Visitors can expect medieval markets with wine, food, crafts, displays of weapons, embroidery and textiles, as well as costume parades inspired by the Crusader Routes.
