If you love Turkish delight, there is one place on the island where you should go to taste the real Cypriot taste - Geroskipou.

This village, famous for its rich history of loukou production, is proud of its sweet dessert, and what could be better than a two-day festival?

With the arrival of September, the Folklore Association of Aphrodite Geroskipou organizes the cultural festival of loukoumades, introducing viewers to its tastes, entertainment and little-known facts.

As part of the entertainment program, the festival will share all sorts of secrets of making loukoumades, and on a specially equipped area, visitors will be able to enjoy Cypriot coffee brewed on hot sand according to a traditional recipe, and, of course, taste loukoumades at its best. The entertainment program will include traditional dances, live music, tastings and master classes for children and adults.
