Pastel Festival || 21 September 2025 || Anogyra village

Pastelaki (or Pasteli) is a traditional Cypriot sweet similar to kozinaki, made from carob syrup or sugar with the addition of roasted nuts cut into thin golden slices.

Pasteli is part of the cultural heritage of Anogyra. It has great nutritional value, is a valuable treasure rich in vitamins and microelements and has countless uses. The Pasteli Festival highlights and promotes the traditions, cultural heritage and importance of carob and its products, popularizes traditional gastronomy and offers educational opportunities.
